Zamenhoff Street 34, Tel Aviv

The project is situated at the heart of Tel Aviv’s Unesco heritage district. The building is a listed bauhaus building formerly serving as a small local hospital. The refurbished building sits on an entire urban block.

The penthouse is a contemporary extension at the top of this listed building. It was added by Gidi Bar Orian Architects when the building was first refurbished. In this project we were tasked with a multifaceted challenge; to engage with the existing listed building whilst creating a singular experience for this premium project.

There is a strong connection between the sun, sea and vegetation used in the spaces. The color scheme is bright and uplifting and consists of warm natural hues. The landscaping is an integral part of the project creating an inclusive space that creates privacy whilst engaging with the surroundings.
